Poke Bowl

Don’t feel like cooking and love seafood? This is the perfect dish for you.Such a simple recipe, you can also add whatever sides you like!

 

INGREDIENTS:

- 1 pound ahi tuna

- 1 pound salmon 

- 2 cups white rice (optional) 

- 1/4 cup yellow onion minced 

- 2 green onions minced

- 2 Persian cucumbers sliced 

- 1 cup shelled edamame 

- 1 head Romaine lettuce sliced 

- 2 garlic cloves minced 

- 1/2 teaspoon ginger minced

- 1 avocado sliced

- 1/4 teaspoon salt 

- 4 teaspoons soy sauce (I use braggs aminos) 

- 2 reasons sesame oil 

- 2 teaspoons rice vinegar 

 

INGREDIENTS for garnish: 

- pickled ginger

- seaweed salad

- microgreens

- fish roe 

- spicy mayo 

 

INSTRUCTIONS: 

1. Make rice and add rice vinegar, sugar, salt and soy sauce (this step is optional and not necessary if you don’t want rice). 

2. Cut salmon and tuna into cubes. 

3. Add yellow onion, green onion, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, sesame oil, salt to the salmon and tuna. 

4. Mix well and put into the fridge for at least 15 minutes. 

5. Make your bowl by starting with rice and lettuce then add the tuna and salmon. Add all toppings and garnish.
