Stir Fried Beef Rigatoni

My mom use to make this for my siblings and I when we were younger, it brings back so many fun memories // I don’t think there’s an actual name for this dish so I’m calling it S T I R F R I E D beef R I G A T O N I.

INGREDIENTS:

⁃ 16 oz rigatoni pasta (or any short strand pasta of your choice)

⁃ 1 pound ground beef

⁃ 1 small yellow onion diced

⁃ 7 garlic cloves minced

⁃ 2 tablespoons soy sauce

⁃ 3 tablespoon olive oil

⁃ 3 tablespoons tomato paste

⁃ 2 tablespoons oyster sauce

⁃ 1 teaspoon ground black pepper

⁃ 4 stems green onion thinly sliced

⁃ 4 stems cilantro thinly diced

⁃ Salt for the pasta water

INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Bring large pot of water to a boil, add salt and cook pasta per instructions.

2. In a large pan add olive oil to high heat then onions, ground beef, soy sauce and black pepper.

3. Make sure to separate ground beef throughly. Once beef is cooked, add garlic and cook for 1 minute.

4. Add rigatoni pasta (or pasta of your choice), oyster sauce, tomato paste and mix well until all pasta is coated.

5. Garnish with green onion and cilantro.
